CNN anchor Chris Cuomo threatened to attack a supporter of President Donald Trump who called the CNN star a name.
The video was shared on Twitter on Monday and showed an unidentified man calling Cuomo “Fredo,” which got him furious.
Calling the younger brother of New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo “Fredo,” a dimwitted character from “The Godfather,” was started by radio personality Rush Limbaugh.
A man in NY yesterday approached CNN’s Chris Cuomo and called him “Fredo”
Cuomo: “You’re going to have a problem”
Man: “What are you going to do about it?”
Cuomo: “I’ll fuckin ruin your shit. I’ll fucking throw you down these stairs”

“I thought that’s who you were,” the unidentified man said to the CNN host who immediately got confrontational.
“No, punk a** b**ches from the right call me Fredo. My name is Chris Cuomo, I’m an anchor on CNN,” he said.
“Fredo is from The Godfather. He was that weak brother. And they use it as an Italian aspersion. Any of you Italian?” he said.
“I got a little bit Italian,” the man said to Cuomo.

“Are you Italian? It’s a fucking insult to your people,” Cuomo said. “It’s an insult to your fucking people. It’s like the N-word for us. Is that a cool fu**ing thing?”
“You’re a much more reasonable guy in person than you seem to be on television,” the unidentified man quipped.
“But if you want to play then we’ll fu**ing play. If you got something to say about what I do on television, then say it. Don’t be a [inaudible] and call me a fu**ing insult.
“Listen. I don’t want any problems,” the man said to the host of “Cuomo Prime Time” but he was having none of it.
“Yeah, but you’re going to have a big fucking problem…It’s a little different on TV. Don’t fucking insult me like that,” he said.
The man insisted that eh did not insult Cuomo which only made the host more enraged.
“What the f**k? You called me Fredo. It’s like I call you punk bitch. You like that? You want that to be your nickname?” he said.
“I didn’t call you that,” the man said to him.
“You called me Fredo. You know my name’s not fu**ing Fredo,” he said.
“I though that’s what your name was,” the man said.
“You did not think my name was fu**ing Fredo. Don’t be a liar… You want to be a man, stand up like a man…You want to be a man, I’m here,” he said.
“Then fu**ing own it. Then own what you said,” he said as the man took off his glasses and said he was owning it.
“Then fuc**ng own it. Then own what you said,” Cuomo said again.
“I don’t have a problem with you man,” the man said but then things got super intense as Cuomo was prepared to fight.
“You’re going to have a fu**ing problem,” Cuomo said getting closer to the unidentified man.
“What? What are you going to do about it?” the man said.
“I’ll fu**ing ruin your sh*t. I’ll fu**ing throw you down these stairs like a fuc**ng punk<” he said to the man who told him to do it.
“Why, so you can fu**ing sue?” Cuomo said as it appeared that he was not frightening the man who appeared to be much bigger.
“You don’t want to do that. You don’t want to do that,” the man said.
“So you can fu**ing sue?” Cuomo said.
“But why don’t you do that then?” the man said.
“Then take a fu**ing swing. You want to call me Fredo then take a fu**ing swing,” the host said.
“I’m not going to take a swing at you,” the man said.
“Take a swing. No, no. Come on boy. You want to call me sh*t, call me shi* then. I’m right fu**ing here,” he said.
“I’ll fu**ing wreck your sh*t. I’ll fu**ing wreck your sh*t,” Cuomo said.
“You didn’t know what you were doing when you called me Fredo?” he said.
“I thought it was your name man. I thought it was your name,” the man said, which was likely a lie as Cuomo is a well known personality.
“You didn’t know what you were saying? You thought my name was fu**ing Fredo?” Cuomo said as another man pulled them apart.
President Donald Trump chimed in on the fight on Tuesday, as you had to know he would, with a quip of his own.
“I thought Chris was Fredo also. The truth hurts. Totally lost it! Low ratings @CNN,” he said in a tweet.
